This month was busy like every December. Getting ready for Christmas and for a trip keeps us busy. We had some Christmas activities planned through that also.

This is our 4th year doing The Elf on the Shelf, and I want to say that this has been the least successful year, the kids are getting older and are not has interested.
We need to think of what will happen next year. Do you have any ideas? Have you let your Elf on the Shelf go?
Some of our Christmas decorations
Like I said December was filled with activities. The bays had a father-son Hockey game. Our little ballerina had her Nutcracker recital. Let me tell you she loves the stage. Coco had a school field trip to the Technology Museum in San Jose.

To start our month, we had the annual Habs-Sharks game in San Jose. And for faithful to tradition the Habs lost. They haven’t won in San Jose since 1999.
We drove around in some nearby neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. Including the the Vasona Park Fantasy of lights
One of Coco’s highlights this month was meeting Joe Thornton, the popular Sharks centerman.
I went to the salon to have my nails done. Loved my Christmas nails.
For Christmas week we had planned a trip to Palm Springs, even though it wasn’t super warm, we had an amazing time. Palm Springs post about our trip is here.
